Critical Care Paramedic Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Paramedic to join our team at MedFleet Ambulance. As a Critical Care Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in emergency situations, utilizing your knowledge of critical care training, ACLS, and critical care transport standing orders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide quality patient care in emergency situations, utilizing thorough knowledge and appropriate administration of critical care training, ACLS, and critical care transport standing orders.
- Assist in treating medical situations while maintaining the highest standard of patient care according to current company standards.
- Complete run reports for each transport with appropriate patient care documentation and billing information.
- Maintain continued medical education requirements to maintain a higher level of training and education.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the ambulance, equipment, supplies, and medications.
- Provide professional and courteous communication and service to customers.
- Market the CCP program to maintain a positive image and understanding of the CCP program.
- Understand and follow procedures for vehicle checkout, reporting equipment failure, and submitting expended supply reports.
- Record all runs in the CCP Log spreadsheet when indicated.
- Attend CCP staff meetings.
- Perform stocking and cleaning of the CCP vehicle and station.
- Have in-depth knowledge and understanding of CCP policies and procedures.
- Current Florida Paramedic certification.
- Current BLS & ACLS Certification.
- Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Florida driver license upon offer of employment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A.S. Degree in Emergency Medical Technology.
- Two years working experience as a Paramedic.
- National Registry.
- Critical patient inter-facility transfer experience.
- Critical Care certification.
Works outdoors and indoors with occasional exposure to hazardous conditions and to blood/body fluids, requires respirator use, fumes/odors, extended day, and temperature changes. Frequently works with others, face-to-face contact with others with exposure to noise, mechanical equipment, and electrical equipment. Performs shift work and performs duties frequently in a mobile environment and in confined areas.
