What are the responsibilities of Machine Operators at Pratt Retail Specialties?

Our Machine Operators are responsible for operating machinery that transforms corrugated material into the flat design of a box. Think of the boxes used for deliveries from popular retailers and meal services.

What is the work environment like?

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Regularly required to stand, walk, communicate, and listen.

Frequently required to use hands for handling, reaching, and feeling.

Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.

Occasionally required to sit.

Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

MATHEMATICAL ABILITIES

Must be able to read a tape measure accurately and apply basic high school math concepts.

REASONING SKILLS
