Fiberglass Assembler Position

We are seeking a skilled Fiberglass Assembler to join our team at APR Consulting, Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience working with composite materials, including carbon fiber, fiberglass, and resins, and must be able to follow precise assembly instructions to create high-quality composite tools used in industries such as aerospace, automotive, and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble composite tools and components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Work with composite materials such as carbon fiber, fiberglass, and resins, including cutting, shaping, and bonding components.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to assemble composite structures and tools.
- Perform layup of composite materials on molds, ensuring proper alignment and adhesion.
- Perform finishing work on composite tools, including sanding, trimming, and polishing as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot any issues or improve assembly processes.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent (vocational training in composite materials or a related field preferred).
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in composite tool assembly, manufacturing, or fabrication.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in composite manufacturing.
- Knowledge of composite materials (e.g., carbon fiber, fiberglass) and their properties.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
