Key Responsibilities:- Assemble products and components by hand or with the use of tools, following established procedures and guidelines.
- Read and understand assembly drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools, to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Prepare work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements to ensure accurate assembly.
- Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies, and verifying specifications.
- Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintain inventory by checking stock to determine supply levels and conserving resources by using equipment and supplies as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing experience with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to attain and sustain an Airport I.D. Badge and CBP Seal.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge and utilization of PPE (safety glasses, gloves, etc.).
The work environment/physical requirements described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee will be working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
