About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Professional to join our Community Support Team in Asheville, North Carolina. As a key member of our team, you will work directly with adults to provide individualized support and services to promote successful community living.



Key Responsibilities


  • Assist with the development of relapse prevention and disease management strategies for adult clients.
  • Ensure linkage to clinically appropriate and effective services, including arranging for psychological and psychiatric evaluations as needed.
  • Provide intensive case management to support clients in achieving their life goals.
  • Conduct functional needs assessments to determine the scope and anticipated outcomes of services.
  • Assist clients with housing searches, including engaging landlords and writing reasonable accommodation letters.
  • Connect clients to financial and in-kind resources to establish and maintain their households.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Special Education, or a related field. Additionally, you will require professional experience working with the adult mental health population.
