Job Title: Insurance Risk Manager

Aon is seeking an experienced Insurance Risk Manager to join our team in Dallas or Houston, TX. As a key member of our Construction business group, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve their risk management goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead day-to-day account management and oversee the execution of service activities for our Aon service team.
  • Build, expand, and solidify relationships with existing clients at executive levels within the company, and lead resources to address client risk/capital management needs.
  • Analyze risk financing programs commercially available and perform coverage comparisons with brokers across all major lines of business.
  • Secure existing business and drive the sale of additional services and coverages across solution lines, working at a strategic level to cultivate relationships with clients.
  • Identify and generate new and penetration business opportunities across solution lines, collaborating with Producers on new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and negotiate fee-based pricing of services, ensuring account profitability in a value-based approach for the scope of service and costs associated with the client service agreement.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Aon's resources and capabilities, effectively leveraging the Aon network to achieve client risk objectives.
  • Conduct needs assessments of client business objectives and coordinate Aon's resources to execute client needs.
  • Stay current on all relevant industry data and introduce innovative ideas to help clients contemplate risk management with a fresh perspective.
  • Possess strong influence across the Aon organization to align resources to best serve client needs, solving complex risk management problems.
  • Prepare for DAU red sheeting sessions on accounts and prepare for Office Pricing Council and National Pricing Council as required.
  • Earn Badges (at least 2 of the following): Articulating Value Badge, RFP Rehearsal Coach Badge, and Redsheet Facilitator Badge.
  • Nominate clients for Client Network Cohort and participate in upcoming cohorts if selected.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Insurance licensing as required.
  • 7-10+ years of appropriate insurance experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of the insurance brokerage business and assigned clients' needs, as well as all major lines of business.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrates technical competency and creates innovative solutions.

The salary range for this position is $175,000 to $250,000 annually, and the actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
