Job Summary:
The successful candidate will perform computational fluid dynamics simulations on local computing clusters and High-Performance Computing systems to support the development and use of computer codes for various applications such as air blast, shock tubes, explosive detonations, and high-speed flows. This position requires analyzing results, making comparisons with experimental data, and presenting findings at conferences and meetings with customers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct computational fluid dynamics simulations using local computing clusters and High-Performance Computing systems
• Analyze results and compare with experimental data
• Present findings at conferences and meetings with customers
• Work with a team of highly skilled engineers and scientists to provide innovative solutions to customers

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Ph.D. in physics or engineering (mechanical, structural, chemical, or aerospace)
• 5-7 years' experience with computational fluid dynamics codes
• Strong technical writing skills and ability to present technical material
• Knowledge of compressible flow and shock physics
• Ability to work in a team environment and cultivate business-development opportunities

Salary and Benefits:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000 based on industry standards and location.
