Postdoctoral Fellow Position at Lovelace Biomedical Research Institute

The Lovelace Biomedical Research Institute is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join our research team in the area of cognitive neuroscience. The successful candidate will work on several projects that use multimodal neuroimaging to study traumatic brain injury and psychosis spectrum disorders.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform independent research in image processing and algorithm development with application to brain imaging and genetics data.
  • Interact with patients from various clinical populations and healthy controls.
  • Develop or select proper statistic tests, algorithms, and methods.
  • Publish findings in peer-review journals and compete for extramural funding.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. or M.D. in a directly related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of research experience performing related duties.
  • Proven record of peer-reviewed publications with first-authorship success.
  • Experience with R/Python programming and neuroimaging software (e.g., AFNI, FSL).

  • Relocation may be offered.
  • Work in a dry laboratory environment.
  • Operate standard office equipment.
  • Frequently stand, walk, sit, and perform desk-based computer tasks.
