Maintenance Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Graphic Packaging International. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Respond to unplanned equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs as needed.
  • Complete work orders and notifications in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Adhere to preventative maintenance schedules and perform predictive maintenance tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including PLC programming and drive control.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
