Position Summary

We are on the lookout for a meticulous and seasoned Corporate Tax Senior Accountant to enhance our team. This role will entail the preparation of federal and state corporate tax filings, along with account reconciliations, addressing state tax inquiries, and contributing to various tax-related projects. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of corporate taxation, exceptional analytical capabilities, and the aptitude to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and review of federal and corporate income tax returns, including both single and consolidated filings.
  • Preparation and review of state corporate income tax extensions and returns, encompassing single and combined filings.
  • Calculation and preparation of state apportionment workpapers.
  • Review and calculation of state quarterly estimated tax payments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate multistate tax return preparation.
  • Experience with Corptax for corporate tax return preparation is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of general accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines accurately, and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Information

The salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience.
