At Washington Federal, we're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Branch Manager to lead our retail banking team. As a key member of our organization, you'll be responsible for developing strategies to expand our consumer and small business client base, creating and executing plans to develop branch staff, and meeting production goals through coaching, motivating, and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to grow our consumer and small business client base
- Create and execute plans to develop branch staff, including coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback
- Meet production goals through effective coaching and motivation of staff
- Proactively seek new business relationships and partnerships
- Optimize operational effectiveness and profitability to enhance shareholder value
- Communicate clearly with staff and clients through various channels
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Participate in skill advancement and adhere to bank policies and procedures
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a financial institution
- Strong math skills, 10-key, and keyboarding
- Proficient in standard Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, Teams, PowerBI, and Outlook
- Well-developed smartphone and digital channel skills
- Valid driver's license, satisfactory transportation, and adequate insurance coverage
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Candidates must meet all requirements of the NMLS Registry
