Job Summary

As a Senior Outreach Coordinator with the Mental Health Association of Oklahoma, you will play a critical role in connecting vulnerable individuals with essential resources and support services. This dynamic position requires a strong ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and navigate complex systems to ensure individuals receive the help they need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, or social concerns.
  • Collaborate with Embark leadership, community partners, and MHAOK staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Connect individuals with housing, mental health treatment, recovery programs, employment services, and other necessary resources.
  • Provide transportation to clients when needed, utilizing the Embark transit system.
  • Complete necessary documentation and data collection to inform program evaluation and development.

Qualifications:

  • Must be in active recovery for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Bachelor's degree in human relations, behavioral health, social work, or a related field.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, with a strong emphasis on building trust and rapport.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong technology skills, with proficiency in relevant software and systems.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to navigate changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Valid Oklahoma Driver's License and clean driving record.
