The Role

We are seeking a skilled Lighting Engineer to join our team. As a Lighting Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of show and event productions by performing technical aspects related to lighting and stage operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing load-ins of band equipment and rental equipment
  • Setting up and breaking down band and event equipment
  • Focusing and adjusting lighting to artist or event specifications
  • Operating lighting control boards and programming
  • Maintaining and repairing lighting equipment
  • Assisting with production throughout the house as needed
  • Accommodating artist/event A/V requirements
  • Ensuring safe and consistent operation of lighting
  • Assisting with technical advances with artists' representatives
  • Ensuring proper care and handling of all HOBE and rental lighting & A/V equipment
  • Interacting with visiting production crews to ensure successful shows
  • Distributing or creating lighting plot plans
  • Overseeing and operating systems pertaining to lighting throughout the entire event
  • Ensuring special events lighting needs are scheduled and met
  • Assisting audio crew with stands, microphones, cables, etc.
  • Assisting with special events operations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3 years minimum tour or stage production experience
  • Experience in stage lighting, pro audio systems, and basic video systems
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft applications
  • Superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • High School Diploma
Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with a college degree and experience in stage lighting, pro audio systems, and basic video systems.

Working Environment

This role requires working in an environment with moderate to loud noise levels and extreme lighting changes. You must be able to lift up to 75lbs.
