ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Effectively communicates and responds promptly when quality concerns arise.
Ability to present updates on issue resolution to management teams.
Acts as a primary liaison with quality assurance teams and suppliers.
Possesses knowledge of manufacturing processes utilized by suppliers.
Facilitates visits from supplier representatives.
Authorized to allocate resources from corporate offices.
Understands supplier design responsibilities.
Familiar with parts governed by multi-party agreements.
Knowledgeable about specifications and compliance criteria.
Provides ongoing support and is capable of covering various shifts.
Engages with incoming quality teams during investigations of quality issues.
Ensures timely delivery of returned defective parts to suppliers.
Proactively addresses issues at the manufacturing site.
Ensures a thorough resolution process, including parts in transit.
Confirms that certified materials are utilized in production.
Monitors that suspect materials are quarantined or returned to suppliers.
Understands the return process for parts shipped from assembly plants.
Possesses the means to conduct functional and visual inspections of parts.
Drives closure on all issues and communicates updates to relevant parties.
Obtains early claims information and informs suppliers as necessary.
Handles initial disputes with internal quality teams.
Participates in quality meetings as required.
Communicates any concerns regarding improper handling of parts.
Possesses knowledge of supplier manufacturing processes and quality controls.
Trained in various problem-solving methodologies.
Attends relevant meetings as needed.
Conducts audits related to quality concerns and assembly issues.
Participates in meetings focused on product consistency.
Ensures that certified materials are utilized in production.
Follows up with plant contacts to ensure timely communication of quality actions.
Familiarizes with ongoing projects and collaborates with relevant teams.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Years of experience: 2-5

Education level: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related STEM field

PREFERRED SKILLS
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational abilities
Excellent communication skills
Effective presentation and management capabilities
Knowledge of injection molding and plastic fabrication
Understanding of quality defects in molded components
Experience with testing and validation software
Background in wiring harness engineering
Ability to troubleshoot wiring harness issues
Familiarity with vehicle electrical systems
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
