Ultrasound Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at MountainView Hospital. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures and providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using advanced equipment and techniques
  • Obtain and analyze images to assist in the diagnosis of various medical conditions
  • Assist radiologists during biopsies and other procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient procedures and results
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • Advanced certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in the categories of ABD, OBGYN, and neurosurgery
  • Current ARRT certification or RVT certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic training in an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Tech Program or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred
