Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be tasked with assessing, selecting, and pricing both new and renewal business in accordance with company guidelines and your designated underwriting authority.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial underwriting, specifically in Workers' Compensation, Commercial Auto, and Businessowners'
  • Preferred experience of 2 years in habitational underwriting
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Proficient technical skills in software applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • A collaborative team-oriented mindset
  • Exceptional multitasking and time management skills, demonstrating sound judgment
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned underwriting territory alongside a Field Representative to foster agency relationships
