Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on our Vent Unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our residents. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, you will utilize your knowledge and skills to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend to the daily operations of the unit, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Assume leadership roles as needed, demonstrating your ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to residents.
  • Utilize your knowledge of nursing principles and basic physical assessment skills to identify and address resident needs.
Requirements
  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college).
  • Less than one year experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (diploma).
  • License for Practical Nursing and AHA CPR Certification.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Synquest, IV Pump, Phillips Monitoring System, Accucheck, and EKG Machine.
