About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Advocate to join our team at TEKsystems. As a Customer Advocate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth processing of loan applications, from initial submission to final approval.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process loan applications in compliance with mortgage lending and applicable investor guidelines
  • Analyze loan applications, assess creditworthiness, and determine the likelihood of loan repayment
  • Review title commitments and fees, order subordinations, and allocate fees properly in the system
  • Monitor the loan process, manage client expectations, and communicate with sales staff through closing
  • Make mortgage loan recommendations for Government and Conforming Full Doc products
  • Work on a blend of all products based on pipeline management ability
  • Escalate loans through proper channels if a loan no longer qualifies or a restructure is needed
  • Request, follow up, and obtain items from 3rd parties as needed
  • Run AUS engine (DU/LP) to confirm loan scoring and compliance
  • Submit files for review, ensuring quality loan processing and adherence to underwriting standards
  • Record data on loan status, including new applications, approved, canceled, or denied
  • Meet funding goals and maintain assigned pipeline to meet service level agreements
  • Provide feedback to Loan Credit Advisor on loan quality
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
