Job Summary

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at UNC Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide high-quality, cost-effective care to patients within your scope of practice.

Responsibilities
  • Clinical Practice: Obtain relevant health and medical history, perform thorough physical assessments, and develop treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based pharmacological agents.
  • Education and Leadership: Educate clients and families regarding medical conditions, treatment, and follow-up, and provide instruction to physicians, house staff, nursing, and students.
  • Quality and Research: Engage in daily continuous quality improvement, consult with management on clinical and system issues, and develop new clinical programs or services to improve patient care.
  • Professionalism: Interact with patients and families in a respectful, courteous, and timely fashion, and collaborate with coworkers and other team members to provide patient-centered care.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider program.
  • Licensure as an Advanced Practice Provider in the state of North Carolina.
  • Board certification if required by the Department.
  • DEA certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider.
