Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness in cabins, hallways, restrooms, and other areas to meet health standards.
  • Utilize vacuum cleaners and shampooers to clean carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture.
  • Manage waste disposal by emptying wastebaskets and transporting trash to designated areas.
  • Perform floor maintenance including sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing.
  • Dust and polish furniture and equipment to ensure a pristine appearance.
  • Keep storage areas and cleaning carts organized and well-stocked.
  • Polish silver and metal fixtures to maintain their shine.
  • Replace light bulbs as necessary to ensure proper lighting.
  • Ensure all areas are free from offensive odors and maintain a pleasant atmosphere.
  • Replenish supplies such as glassware, dishes, linens, and bathroom essentials.
  • Sort and clean linens, storing them appropriately in designated areas.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings, performing waxing and polishing as needed.
  • Request maintenance services when repairs are required.
  • Disinfect equipment and supplies using appropriate cleaning agents.
  • Handle draperies and window blinds with care, ensuring cleanliness.
  • Rearrange furniture and turn mattresses as part of routine maintenance.
  • Observe safety precautions to protect property and report any damage or theft.
  • Clean kitchens and wash dishes, ensuring all utensils are sanitized.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong guest service and hospitality skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Able to push and pull heavy items and equipment.
  • Skilled in multitasking various responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
