Coffee Connoisseur

We are seeking a skilled Beverage Specialist to join our team at Koury. As a key member of our customer-facing staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the highest quality beverages are served to our patrons.

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus and information about our drinks offerings.
• Order Taking: Take orders accurately and efficiently, paying close attention to details such as coffee blend preferences, dairy and sugar ratios, and any special requests.
• Beverage Preparation: Prepare beverages to our high standards, following recipes and ensuring that every drink meets our quality expectations.
• Serving and Sales: Serve beverages and prepared food items, such as cookies, pastries, and muffins, to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Payment Processing: Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit card transactions.
• Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, restocking clean mugs and plates as needed.
• Equipment Maintenance: Check brewing equipment regularly to ensure it is operating properly and report any maintenance needs to management.
• Health and Safety: Comply with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
• Feedback and Communication: Communicate customer feedback to management and make recommendations for new menu items or promotions.

• Previous Experience: Previous work experience as a Barista or Waiter/Waitress is required.
• Brewing Equipment Experience: Hands-on experience with brewing equipment is essential.
• Sanitation Knowledge: Knowledge of sanitation regulations is necessary to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Flexibility: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, is required.
• Math Skills: Basic math skills are necessary for handling cash and credit card transactions.
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
