Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As a Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing nutritional care to our patients and ensuring their overall health and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assess nutritional needs and develop personalized care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Conduct nutritional assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement nutrition interventions to promote healthy eating habits.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Document patient information and progress in the electronic medical record.
  • Attend Interdisciplinary Team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics or related field.
  • Registration or registration eligible with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Licensed or licensed eligible with the State of Iowa.
  • Current CPR/BCLS certification.
  • American National Standards Institute accredited food protection/safety certification.
