Job Summary

Mount Rogers Community Services is seeking a skilled Recovery Coach to provide support and training to adults in a short-term, sub-acute crisis stabilization unit. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with mental health and substance abuse disabilities, and will be able to develop and implement intervention strategies to promote recovery and self-determination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and training services to adults meeting criteria for the Crisis Stabilization Unit
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies through individualized service plans
  • Lead individual and group training classes to assist in recovery
  • Collect and maintain data and provide accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and licensure standards
  • Provide case management services to clients who meet eligibility criteria for the Crisis Stabilization Unit
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field
  • Knowledge of mental health, substance abuse, and developmental disability symptomology
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health and substance abuse disabilities
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
