About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Assistant to join our team at Choice Health Care. As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our dental care delivery team by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials, and performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the doctor in procedures, including taking x-rays and operating x-ray equipment
- Prophy teeth and instruct patients on oral hygiene
- Chart and treatment plan with the doctor, and sterilize instruments
- Setup and prepare rooms for hygiene and treatment, and take IO's
- Charting and sealants, if applicable
Requirements:
- Certification from a dental college or 3+ months related experience and/or training
- BIlingual in Spanish, preferred
- California Registered Dental Assistant License, X-Ray Certification, Coronal Polish Certification, and Current BLS certification
