This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our facilities, including the Texas Biological Facility, the Flexible Biological Facility, and the National Center for Therapeutic Manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and OEM providers to ensure successful project execution and equipment installation.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality protocols, SOPs, cGMP, and FDA regulatory guidelines.
- Assist with hiring and training maintenance personnel to support facility operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance, or a related field, and 3 years' experience in a maintenance role in a GMO or ISO certified facility.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance tasks, OSHA regulations, and safe work practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in the biopharma industry.
