About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishroom Attendant to join our team at the Ambassador Hotel Kansas City. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain the dishroom, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning walls and floor mats, and removing refuse.
  • Participate in the dish area operations, including washing dishes, sanitizing equipment, and returning items not sufficiently cleaned for a second wash.
  • Change and dispose of grease, and maintain a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention.
  • Assist fellow associates as needed, and report any maintenance problems or other problem areas to designated management.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, safety and sanitation policies and procedures, and ensure compliance.
Requirements
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written directions, work with industrial cleaning supplies, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to successfully multi-task several duties at one time, and possess sufficient strength to perform job responsibilities.
  • Exert physical effort in lifting/transporting at least 50 pounds, push/pull carts and other equipment up to 250 pounds, and stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4-hours in length.
