Job Title: Head Volleyball Coach Position

About the Job:

The Great Bay Community College is seeking a part-time Head Volleyball Coach to lead our volleyball program. As a key member of the Athletics department, you will be responsible for coaching and administering the volleyball team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Celebrate student-athlete success and strive to create an environment that fosters their personal growth and athletic development.
  • Promote academic excellence among student-athletes, ensuring they meet eligibility requirements and achieve academic success.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent to the team.
  • Coach and mentor student-athletes to improve their skills, teamwork, and overall performance.
  • Foster positive relationships with colleagues, students, and community members to promote the college's reputation and values.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree in a related field (e.g., exercise science, sports management, education).
  • At least 2 years of experience as a head coach or assistant coach at the collegiate level or high school level.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit student-athletes successfully and lead a team to competitive success.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
