Diagnostic Medical Sonography Director of Clinical Education

Concorde Career College is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Medical Sonography Director of Clinical Education to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical education programs that meet the highest standards of education for our students.
  • Foster strong relationships with clinical affiliates and secure new clinical affiliation agreements to expand our network and strengthen our ties within the healthcare community.
  • Develop, monitor, and refine the clinical education component of the curriculum to provide students with a well-rounded educational experience.
  • Coach, mentor, and advise students, being available to solve problems and provide guidance during their clinical rotations.
  • Act as an Instructor of Record and contribute to didactic/laboratory courses as assigned, within accreditor guidelines.
  • Oversee clinical instructors and preceptors at clinical sites, ensuring the fulfillment of program requirements.
  • Assist with all requirements of programmatic and institutional accreditors, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Embrace a strong focus on community involvement, participating in local/national societies as requested, and attending program graduation ceremonies.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of an Associate degree in Medical Sonography.
  • Four years of full-time professional experience in OB/GYN and Abdominal Sonography.
  • Documented coursework in instructional methodologies, evaluation, and assessment.
  • Must be RDMS certified with specializations in OB/GYN and Abdominal.
  • Proficiency in curriculum development, teaching methodology, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and guidance.
