Key Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to Block's lending obligations in collaboration with bank partners and during regulatory examinations.

Your primary duties will include comprehensive examination management support, which entails creating project plans with specific timelines, managing the intake of examination requests, collaborating with partners to gather necessary responses, facilitating timely regulatory submissions, and overseeing communications.

You will engage with teams in legal, compliance, banking operations, finance, data analytics, engineering, product development, and others to ensure Block meets all applicable requirements while striving to minimize regulatory burdens and promote innovation.


Your Duties Will Include:
  • Managing an examination program that meets our legal and regulatory obligations while aiming to reduce business and product disruptions.
  • Overseeing federal regulatory examinations and collaborating with team members to achieve favorable examination outcomes.
  • Assisting in the preparation of all examination requests and inquiries, coordinating with partners, and collecting data from various teams, ensuring all responses are meticulously compiled and submitted.
  • Supporting any remediation project planning and monitoring.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners, responding to regulatory requests with sensitivity and efficiency.
  • Tracking, interpreting, and operationalizing legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing all data input and oversight into the repository/GRC/issue management systems, ensuring workflows are adhered to and deadlines are established.
  • Overseeing documentation within the GRC, ensuring proper naming conventions, folder structures, and timely delivery to regulators.
