Structural Engineer Internship Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Structural Engineer Intern to join our team at Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP. As a Structural Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, including buildings, industrial facilities, water/wastewater plants, and waterfront facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems for various building types and materials.
  • Develop concept designs and create construction documents for clients across a broad range of markets.
  • Collaborate with our team of engineers and architects on project development and implementation.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Current enrollment in an ABET accredited Civil Engineering bachelor or master program with a focus on Structural Concentration.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with structural design and analysis software (RISA, STAAD, etc.) and drafting and modeling software (Revit and AutoCAD).
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
