Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in the Observation, Telemetry, and Palliative Care unit. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care and support to patients with a variety of medical conditions, including short-stay, end-of-life, and medical/surgical patients.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and document patient information accurately and completely.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
- Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Ohio.
- Successful completion of an approved Pharmacology Course with NAPNES Certification, OOPNES Certification, or Ohio Board of Nursing Card.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
- Current BLS/CPR and maintain current certification; IV certification preferred.
