Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care and support to patients with a variety of medical conditions, including short-stay, end-of-life, and medical/surgical patients.
  • Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and document patient information accurately and completely.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Ohio.
  • Successful completion of an approved Pharmacology Course with NAPNES Certification, OOPNES Certification, or Ohio Board of Nursing Card.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
  • Current BLS/CPR and maintain current certification; IV certification preferred.
