Construction Surveillance Technician

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Construction Surveillance Technician to work as a Security Escort for a Restricted Area within Fort Moore in Georgia. The successful candidate will be responsible for escorting un-cleared individuals/visitors into designated buildings and property, monitoring their movements while in secure areas, and ensuring the safety and security of personnel and assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Escort un-cleared individuals/visitors into designated buildings and property, monitoring their movements while in secure areas.
- Follow all company personnel, safety policies, and perform all assigned duties in a safe work manner.
- Interact professionally with customers, employees, VIPs, and the general public.
- Apply knowledge, training, and expertise to safeguards and security policies and procedures, assessing operations and interpreting policies.
- Review and understand the requirement of the site-specific Construction Security Plan.
- Perform all other job-related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
- Applicant must possess and maintain a secret security clearance.
- Must pass a State and Federal criminal history/security background checks.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
- Must comply with all company policies, procedures, and adhere to company standards.
- Physically able, with or without an accommodation, to work in indoor and outdoor environments.
- Frequently climb stairs and work across a variety of uneven terrains such as construction dirt sites, areas with gravel, paved sidewalks, etc.
- Occasional bending and stooping may be required.
- Work in variable outdoor conditions including dust and noise.
- Work in environment with heavy, moving, dangerous construction equipment.
- Able to work outdoors in variable climate conditions including heat, snow, cold, wind, etc.
- Frequent keyboard/mouse operations to write daily and monthly reports, complete timesheets, comply with online trainings, etc.
- Position will include wearing associated personal protective equipment, including but not limited to safety glasses/goggles, safety vest, safety shoes/boots, and hard hat.
- Working hours may include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
