Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate to join our team at Straka Pediatric Therapies. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work with children and their families to provide exceptional therapy and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to pediatric clients, with a focus on delivering trauma-informed and culturally sensitive care.
  • Collaborate with our team of Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Physical Therapists to ensure comprehensive care for our clients.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the highest ethical standards in your work with clients and their families.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • LPCC credentials and a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Experience working with children and families, with a focus on trauma-informed care and cultural sensitivity.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in your work with clients and their families.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with children with special needs and their families.
  • Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and a willingness to learn and incorporate new approaches into your practice.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and develop effective solutions.
