We are seeking talented and high-energy individuals to join our team as Scare Actors for the Halloween Haunt event at Kings Dominion.
Responsibilities- Use creativity to startle and scare guests in a safe and effective manner, utilizing performance techniques taught in training.
- Work as a member of a team to achieve the overall atmosphere and goals set by the Entertainment leadership and show directors.
- Consistently perform role as scripted or conceived, remaining in character while in view of guests and interacting in a professional and artistic manner.
- Strong vocalization required, including grunts, groans, growls, screams, and other monster noises.
- Work amongst other scare actors, talent coaches, and supervisors to create an immersive environment for guests.
- Perform physical and vocal warm-ups to prevent injury.
- Wear assigned costume, make-up, or mask for event run.
- Maintain gear provided by the park for the run of the event.
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Ability to work in strobe lighting, artificial fog, confined, and dark spaces.
- Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- Comfortable in working in loud and high-energy environments.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and be able to stand for extended periods.
