Job Title: Specimen Processor

We are seeking a highly skilled Specimen Processor to join our team at Sonic Healthcare USA. As a Specimen Processor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory by processing, preparing, and storing patient specimens.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and prepare patient specimens for testing, adhering to strict quality control and safety protocols.
  • Recognize and implement corrective actions to ensure accurate and timely specimen processing.
  • Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Champion safety, compliance, and quality control, adhering to regulatory standards and company policies.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing.
  • Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including telephones, computers, centrifuges, and audible alarms.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of related experience in clinical laboratory, data entry, or production.
