Position Summary

The Utility Support Team Member is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen and dining areas. This role involves ensuring that all kitchen equipment, storage areas, and related spaces are kept to Parkhurst's high standards under strict sanitary conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen floors, coolers, and service areas by sweeping and mopping regularly.
  2. Ensure all kitchen equipment, coolers, and service areas are thoroughly cleaned.
  3. Assist in the dish room during peak periods to support team efficiency.
  4. Regularly clean kitchen countertops and polish stainless steel surfaces at least three times a week.
  5. Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal.
  6. Wipe down dining room tables to maintain a clean dining environment.
  7. Adhere to the cleaning schedule provided by management, utilizing 'clean as you go' techniques.
  8. Support catering operations by assisting with deliveries and pickups as needed.
  9. Communicate effectively with management regarding supplies and product needs.
  10. Follow the uniform dress code and uphold personal hygiene standards.
  11. Embrace Parkhurst Hospitality Gold Standards and the Smile Plus hospitality imperatives.
  12. Collaborate with fellow team members to foster a supportive work environment.
  13. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
