Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Perform regular cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and recreational areas.
  • Trash and Recycling: Collect and dispose of trash from common areas and designated trash collection points.
  • Outdoor Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of outdoor areas, including sidewalks, parking lots, and green spaces. Ensure that these areas are free from litter and debris.
  • Appliance Maintenance: Clean common area appliances, such as washing machines and dryers, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Reporting and Communication: Report any maintenance or repair needs beyond your capability to the property manager or maintenance team. Interact with residents in a courteous and professional manner, addressing their concerns or requests promptly.
  • Inventory and Supply Management: Keep an inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the property manager when supplies need to be replenished.
  • Safety and Security: Adhere to safety protocols, property rules, and regulations. Ensure that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are performed in compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Emergency Response: Be available for emergency response situations, such as responding to leaks or other urgent maintenance needs after-hours.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous experience in Janitorial, cleaning, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and techniques. Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-oriented demeanor.
  • Physical Requirements: Physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. Knowledge of safety guidelines and the ability to follow them.
  • Education and Certifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. A valid Driver's License is required to complete the essential functions of the position (traveling to different properties, obtaining/transporting supplies, etc.).
