Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic Job Description

Trotter Workforce is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a dynamic and innovative recruiting firm, we take pride in offering diverse career opportunities across a multitude of industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines and equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in heavy-duty diesel mechanics
  • Valid driver's license
  • Crane maintenance experience
  • Construction equipment experience
  • Diesel truck engine experience
  • Small engine experience a plus
  • Ability to manage small groups of mechanics
  • Welding and fabrication skills
  • Ability to operate equipment
  • PA Inspection License a plus
  • Class A CDL and DOT med card a plus
  • NCCCO crane license a plus
