We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Imaging Associates AK. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality images and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain diagnostic x-ray equipment, including X-ray and C-arm, to produce high-quality images of designated anatomical areas.
- Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and coworkers to provide excellent customer service.
- Apply the ALARA principle of radiation protection and evaluate radiographs for technical quality in accordance with industry best practices and departmental standards.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to ensure optimal patient care and departmental efficiency.
- Current certification as ARRT (R) or Registry Eligible
- BLS required
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and coworkers
- Demonstrate ability to be productive independently or in a team environment
- Previous experience operating C-Arm for nonsurgical procedures
