We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Imaging Specialist to join our team at Imaging Associates Of Alaska. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for working directly with patients and assisting radiologists while administering ionizing radiation in the course of mammography procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of mammographic procedures according to clinical and national standards.
- Accurately complete records, daily quality assurance and improvement information, meeting regulatory standards.
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment, optimizing it to benefit operations.
- Stock work areas daily and may be involved in ordering and stocking general supplies.
- Compile with national radiation standards (ALARA) and complete education necessary to maintain licensure or certification required for position.
- Communicate with physicians and other members of the team concerning patient status, diagnosis, or related information.
- Implement care/service that recognizes age/diversity specific needs/issues of customers served.
- Procedures: Performs a variety of mammographic procedures according to clinical and national standards.
- Documentation: Responsible for accurately completing records, daily quality assurance and improvement information, meeting regulatory standards.
- Equipment: Calibrates, maintains and troubleshoots equipment. Optimizes equipment and supplies to benefit operations.
- Supplies and Inventory: Stocks work area daily. May be involved in ordering and stocking general supplies.

We can provide on-the-job training as needed. A sign on bonus of $7,500 gross shall be paid on first payroll after hire.
