Job Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in post-acute facilities.
- Monitor residents' physical and mental conditions, tracking vital signs and documenting medical histories.
- Administer medications, track their use, and ensure proper verification.
- Cultivate a comfortable and safe environment for residents.
- Track medical records and charts, and assist with IV setup, immunizations, and phlebotomy procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current New Jersey state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Completion of an approved LPN educational program.
- High school graduation, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of experience as an LPN or in a similar role.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
