Job Purpose and Summary

The COBOL Developer is responsible for using approved programming languages, operating systems and source code to create, enhance, and maintain applications. The Developer will work with the team to design, develop, and test software applications using COBOL programming language. The ideal candidate will have experience with COBOL programming language, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills. The Developer will be responsible for ensuring that all software applications meet the required standards and are delivered on time. The role requires a strong attention to detail, ability to work in a team environment, and excellent problem-solving skills. The Developer will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing software applications, as well as developing new ones. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of COBOL programming language, experience with software development life cycle, and excellent communication skills. The Developer will work closely with the team to ensure that all software applications meet the required standards and are delivered on time.
