Job Purpose and Summary

The COBOL Developer is responsible for using approved programming languages, operating systems and source code to create, enhance, and maintain applications. The Developer will work with the team to design, develop, and test software applications using COBOL programming language. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of COBOL programming language, software development life cycle, and experience working with Federal Security Clearances. The COBOL Developer will be responsible for ensuring that all software applications meet the required security standards and are compliant with Federal regulations.
