Job Title: Estimating Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Estimating Coordinator is a key member of the estimating department at Crown Technical Systems. This role provides administrative support to the team during the bid-out process, ensuring seamless coordination and efficient execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • File and maintain all electronic and paper copies of bid documents, including receiving, distributing, and updating as necessary.
  • Organize and maintain the company's bid log and track the status of bids.
  • Attend daily and weekly estimating department meetings, taking meeting notes and updating the bid log accordingly.
  • Review customer bill of materials for relay panels, ensuring it matches customer original bill of vendor quotes for parts listed on panel project bill of materials.
  • Submit RFI's for part issues as needed and follow up with customers to ensure requested information is received in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects while meeting required deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in an administrative role.

Working Conditions:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds and traverse the production floor as needed.

Salary: $20-$22.50/Hourly
