About the Role:

We are seeking a Medical Instrument Technician to join our team at 1199SEIU Employment Center. As a Central Sterile Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Schedule and Availability:

  • All positions are based in hospitals and nursing homes, with various shifts available, including days, evenings, and nights.
  • Every other weekend is typically required for all positions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED/TASC required
  • Prior experience in Central Service/Processing desired
  • Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) certification required

Compensation and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of approximately $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience
  • A comprehensive Union benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off
