About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to fill the role of Operating Room Manager. This position will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing clinical and program development within the OR to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership and experience in managing surgical services. They will be responsible for overseeing professional nursing practice, planning, and managing the operation of the surgical service to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee professional nursing practice and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Plan, organize, and implement clinical and program development within the OR
  • Manage the operation of the surgical service to ensure quality patient care
  • Collaborate with the Nursing Director and Associate Chief Nurse to achieve organizational goals
  • Ensure the practice of the Patient and Family Centered Care Model in the OR
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field, or enrollment in program preferred
  • Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required
  • 3-5 years of progressive leadership development, management experience preferred
