Clinical Psychologist, HSCP at Assistant/Associate Professor

This Clinical Faculty position is a unique opportunity to provide neuropsychological services to transitional age youth and adults in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at UC Irvine. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting psychological and neuropsychological assessments, as well as providing evidence-based psychotherapeutic services in collaboration with psychiatrists, residents, and fellows.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments of adults with mental health disorders
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy, family therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy
• Supervise trainees, including medical students, residents, and psychology students and interns
• Engage in clinical research and quality improvement projects
• Generate detailed patient reports
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Clinical Psychology, California licensure, and established expertise in neuropsychological assessments of adults with mental health disorders. Experience with advanced diagnostic assessment tools, including the SCID and SIPS, is desirable. Additionally, experience conducting neuropsychological assessments in children and transitional age youth is also desirable.
