Job Summary: The Catering Supervisor oversees the Catering Department staff, ensuring the efficient preparation and service of food at events under the guidance of the Catering Director. Responsibilities may include driving to deliver food and beverages for catered events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and evaluate Catering Department personnel.
  • Assess workload based on catering requests.
  • Collaborate with event leaders to finalize setup and address any last-minute adjustments.
  • Prepare and deliver food and supplies to designated catering events.
  • Return leftover food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility.
  • Gather and manage customer feedback during events.
  • Ensure food presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures meet standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols in food handling.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A valid driver's license may be necessary. Candidates must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol server's permit as required by state regulations.
