Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store.
  • Restock shelves and organize merchandise displays to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
  • Provide exceptional assistance to customers, addressing their needs and inquiries.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate any issues to management.
  • Report on product availability, inventory discrepancies, and other operational concerns.
  • Participate in regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize financial losses.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure a secure and confidential work environment.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store.
  • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Experience operating a cash register with accuracy.
  • Familiarity with operating equipment such as electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness according to company standards.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Compliance with state and local regulations for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a retail setting is advantageous.
  • A combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge.
