Job Description

The Source Inspector is a critical role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of aerospace components. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections of aerospace components to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
  • Verify FAI's to AS9102 for accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of hand tools and gaging techniques.
  • Interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate inspection and measurement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in inspection techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or inspection, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Strong understanding of AS9102 and other relevant industry standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex information to stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CMM inspection and programming.
  • Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint interpretation.
  • Fluency in multiple languages, including English.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Typical office conditions, with occasional travel to supplier locations.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
  • Regular hours, with occasional overtime as needed.
